Lecture content:

The basic concepts of object-oriented programming are taught using the Python programming language. The basics are covered first and an understanding of data types, data structures, functions and classes is created. Subsequently, special emphasis is placed on the integration of software libraries and the integration of hardware. Finally, the basics of version control with the help of Git software are taught, insights into existing open source projects are provided and an outlook for independent further training is given.
